I’ve been trying everything to photograph this bashful hawk — Including begging God for an opportunity.
As I hastened out the door for church, I received a subtle nudge from God to grab the camera, which I ignored. When I drove away, the hawk soared overhead ever so gracefully. And, yes, I screamed! “Why, why, why do I not listen!”
So today when the Lord said, “Take the camera.” I didn’t hesitate to pack it into the car. When I returned home, the hawk was sitting on the rotating beacon.
As the hawk took flight, I hung out the window, camera in hand, to get the perfect shot. And, yes, I was Praising God for the glorious gift!
On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. Psalm 145:5 & 6
